Katsu Chicken Curry
£7.50
Tender chicken with a delicious Japanese-inspired katsu curry flavour for an easy family favourite. Sold by the tray.
Katsu Chicken Curry from The Butchers Blade in Sandbach. Start with this choice when you want a meal that fits around rice, noodles or another simple side. It offers a different direction from a traditional roast, with the product information guiding the flavour of the finished plate. Check what is actually supplied before planning your shopping list; do not assume vegetables or accompaniments are included.
Choosing for your meal
Decide how many portions you need and check the selected pack size. A sauce-based dish, strips of meat and a prepared curry may need different cooking methods, even when they sound similar. Follow the specific instructions and ask Lee about the ingredients and preparation if the listing is brief. Allow space in the pan or cooking vessel as directed.
Serving ideas
Choose rice or noodles to suit the stated flavour, then add vegetables separately if needed. Have your sides ready at the right time rather than rushing to prepare them while the main dish cooks. Any suggested garnish or accompaniment is optional and not part of the pack unless stated. Check allergen information and use the label’s cooking and storage guidance.

Cooking Katsu Chicken Curry
Follow the product’s specific cooking instructions; fillings, coatings and pack sizes change the method. Confirm the recommended temperature and time with Lee before cooking. For poultry, pork, minced meat, sausages, rolled joints and mechanically tenderised meat, cook thoroughly: the centre should reach 70°C for 2 minutes, or 75°C for 30 seconds. Clean the thermometer before and after checking.

A little extra at the table
Prepare your sides first so you can give the meat your full attention and let it rest before serving.
What goes with it?
Try roast vegetables and lemon-herb potatoes, with Chardonnay or sparkling apple juice.
